October Learning Session "Atomic Bomb Drops on Hiroshima and Me"

October Regular Learning Session is an online lecture called “The Atomic Bomb Dropped on Hiroshima and Me” with Koji Ueda as a lecturer.

Mr. Ueda, a lecturer, was exposed to radiation in Hiroshima when he was three years old. As a non-memorized Hibakusha, Mr. Ueda has continued to testify not only in Japan but around the world, and he has continued to work tenaciously toward the realization of a nuclear-free world.
This time, “Thoughts on the Abolition of Nuclear Weapons – Do Not Repeat Hiroshima and Nagasaki Again” has been published. As written in the book, please listen to Ueda’s way of life, which is gentle, positive, and carrying through his belief without compromising.

  *Lecturer Profile: Born in Hiroshima City in 1942 (his domicile is Motoyanagi-cho) When the atomic bomb was dropped, he was exposed to radiation in Kabe Town, 10 km north of the hypocenter. He served as deputy secretary general of the Tokyo Atomic Bomb Victims’ Association (Toyokai) and the Secretary General of the Hachioji City Atomic Bomb Victims Association (869 Association). The Bengali version of the testimony collection of the atomic bombing “The Voice of Hiroshima” (co-authored with Mr. P. R. Brasid, Toyo Shoten), the Chinese version of the A-bomb testimony collection “Hiroshima and Nagasaki – The Real World of the Atomic Bombing That I Want to Convey Now” 〈Tenchi people project〉
